About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also taking on primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Responsibilities

• Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving exceptional client experiences that maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.

• Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and follow store opening/closing procedures. Utilize digital strategies and tools for efficient operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
