Assistant Maintenance

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Maintenance professional to join our team at Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation Center in Merrillville, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: cleaning, painting, and repairing various areas of the facility
• Absorb responsibility for the maintenance of equipment, including but not limited to: refrigerators, dishwashers, and HVAC systems
• Keep the facility's common areas, including but not limited to: floors, walls, and ceilings, in a clean and tidy condition
• Assist with the upkeep of the facility's grounds, including but not limited to: mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, and trimming bushes
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure completion of projects in a timely manner

• 0 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required
