Assistant Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a maintenance professional to maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents. Our maintenance team is integral to keeping residents satisfied, handling day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assist with various types of maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance
• Perform any reasonable task or request consistent with fulfilling company objectives

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Provide and use your own tools
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, and staff
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience (pool and HVAC certification is a plus)
