Assistant Machine Operator - Laminator - 2nd or 3rd Shift
Responsibilities
- Absorb equipment setup accurately and safely according to proper techniques.
- Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure necessary repairs are made.
- Minimize material waste by optimizing equipment usage and adhering to speed guidelines.
- Perform daily and weekly clean-ups of equipment.
- Conduct continuous quality control checks by selecting materials randomly for size, material, print, and glue verification.
- Comply with all company policies and maintain safe work practices.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Prior laminating or experience working with adhesives is preferred.
- Strong ability to read a ruler and understand fractions.
- Corrugated industry experience is preferred.
- Previous mechanical or manufacturing experience is preferred.
