Assistant Machine Operator - Laminator - 2nd or 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Absorb equipment setup accurately and safely according to proper techniques.
• Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure necessary repairs are made.
• Minimize material waste by optimizing equipment usage and adhering to speed guidelines.
• Perform daily and weekly clean-ups of equipment.
• Conduct continuous quality control checks by selecting materials randomly for size, material, print, and glue verification.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Prior laminating or experience working with adhesives is preferred.
• Strong ability to read a ruler and understand fractions.
• Corrugated industry experience is preferred.
• Previous mechanical or manufacturing experience is preferred.
