Salary: $114,328.50 - $147,088.50

About the role

Our client is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Supervisor for the night shift to oversee lab operations, ensure quality testing standards, and lead laboratory staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab testing and train/assist laboratory staff.
• Oversee the Quality Control Program and prepare monthly QC reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory/accreditation standards.
• Monitor turn-around-time and troubleshoot instrument issues.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and interview prospective candidates.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a clinical laboratory technologist.
• BS degree in Clinical Technology or related science required.
• 4-6 years of relevant hospital experience required.
• Clinical Lab Technologist license (New York State) required.
• ASCP Histotechnician certification preferred.
