Summary Of Responsibilities
W. Gohman Construction is looking for a motivated, safety-minded individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Superintendent. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction management. You will work directly under an experienced Project Superintendent, gaining real-world experience managing construction projects from start to finish. This position is perfect for recent graduates, individuals with construction experience, or those looking to advance into full superintendency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Previous construction experience (internship, laborer, carpenter, or related roles) is strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, plans, and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software (Autodesk, Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Safety-first attitude and strong work ethic
