Duties And Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibility including behavior analysis graduate courses and potential psychology undergraduate courses.
  • Oversight of student theses and participation as a committee member.
  • Mentorship and supervision of graduate students working towards BCBA certification.
  • Additional expectations include mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students, active involvement in professional organizations, service to the university, college and community, and commitment to student success.
  • Other service duties may include participating in recruitment and retention efforts and providing support to other department efforts, as well as collaborating with the community to identify and support internship placements for students (related to behavior analysis).

Education And Experience

  • Required: Earned Doctorate degree or ABD from a regionally accredited institution in Behavior Analysis or Psychology.
  • Certification as a BCBA or BCBA-D.
  • Professional expertise in applied behavior analysis and experience supervising internship students.
  • Clinical experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • University teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
  • Research and thesis experience.
  • Demonstration of collaboration across academic disciplines in related fields to enhance student education and training.
  • Teaching excellence, both in-person and online.
