Assistant Infant Teacher

About the role

The Goddard School in Beverly Hills, MI is seeking full-time assistant teachers to join their team. Positions consist of a nine-hour shift (8 am to 5 pm, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) with an hour break.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for infants
• Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop an engaging curriculum
• Communicate with parents daily through various means
• Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers to grow professionally

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with infants preferred but not required
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with children and families

Qualifications

• Passionate about early childhood education
• Energetic and nurturing personality
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
