Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Health Center Manager to join our Manchester Health Center. This role involves assisting the manager in maintaining the health center's high-functioning team and operational needs, developing budget goals, analyzing data, and supporting staff.
Essential Functions
- Assists the manager in maintaining the high-functioning team and overall health center flow
- Helps develop center’s budget goals
- Maintains and analyzes health center business outcomes using data to improve outcomes
- Collects and reports monthly statistical data on visits, trends, and staffing patterns
- Identifies health center priorities for the annual planning process
- Develops health center goals, objectives, and progress
- Models core values in business ethics, integrity, customer service, and recovery skills
- Participates in agency initiatives through work groups outside of the center
- Supports team through changes and assists in monitoring staff performance
- Supports efforts to provide culturally and linguistically competent services
- Maintains compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Supports communication with community leaders, groups, and organizations
- May help manage a residency program, student externs, and/or health center volunteers
Key Requirements
- Saturday availability and willingness to work
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 1 to 2 years of clinical services or health center experience
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Able to align with and demonstrate agency’s mission, services, core values, and diversity philosophy
- Able to manage work and personal life balance
- Commitment to expanding understanding of racial inequity and building commitment to racial equity in work
- Demonstrated understanding of racial inequity’s impact on healthcare systems and institutions
- Understanding of multiple group identities and dynamics, with high self-awareness, empathy, and humility
- Effective communication and feedback skills
- Accountability for racial equity practices
Pay and Benefits
The position’s hourly pay range is $27.49 - $37.21, determined based on full years of experience. PPSNE does not negotiate salaries. Our benefits package includes:
