About the Role
D1 Coaches implement and instill the D1 training philosophy into every workout. They exhibit the ability to adapt and customize programs in the workouts to tailor them to each athlete. Coaches take a personal stake in the lives of athletes, maintaining regular contact and monitoring individual progress toward goals. Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Modify and adapt movements best suited for each individual.
- Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
- Start and finish workouts on time.
- Assess and align each member with the proper program.
- Build and maintain relationships with each D1 member.
- Coach group workouts, personal training, and teams.
- Deliver accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition.
- Teach proper form and technique to ensure athlete safety.
Requirements
- Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
- Valid CPT certification or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
- Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
