About the role
The Little Gym of Summerville is seeking a Weekend Assistant Gym Director. This individual will assist with gym operations, building and retaining a strong member-base, teaching amazing classes (leading by example), and providing a world class customer experience. The Assistant Gym Director is currently a part-time position, approximately 15–20 hours per week. Availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and some Friday evenings is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (certifications are not required — we’ll teach you how!)
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our members like family here.
- Oversee training and evaluation of your fellow The Little Gym team members.
- Collaborate with the Gym Director to lead a high performing team through training, development, and rewarding.
- Assist the Gym Director with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- You’re totally open to being a goofball and love giving high 5’s. (A background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics helps, but is not required.)
- You live to serve! Helping others be their best, helps you feel your best!
