Assistant Girls Lacrosse Coach

About the role

The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to develop the lacrosse program, focusing on instruction in skills, strategies, and physical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in fundamental skills and strategies
• Contribute to the overall success of the team
• Encourage good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence in student-athletes
• Supervise athletes and team assignments
• Exercise common sense and good judgment in all actions
• Avoid unsportsmanlike conduct

Requirements

• Coaching experience at high school level preferred, but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with technology, social media, and marketing
• A minimum of 60 college credits
• Hold or be able to obtain a Monmouth County substitute certificate
• In-depth knowledge of the sport's techniques, strategies, and rules
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture

Qualifications
