Assistant Girls Basketball Coach

About the role

The Assistant Girls Basketball Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the team's development, including game strategy, player development, and team building.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy discussions
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and performance
• Participate in team meetings and practices
• Support the Head Coach in recruiting efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with youth basketball development
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Passion for basketball and a commitment to student-athlete development
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Skills

• Strong understanding of basketball rules and regulations
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$100-$120 per game, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

Game days are typically on Saturdays, with additional practice sessions throughout the week.
