Assistant General Managers
About the role
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will contribute to Smoothie King's success by assisting the GM in leading the team to create and maintain an exceptional Guest Experience while upholding brand standards, as well as modeling and acting in accordance with Northern Blends' mission and core values.

Daily Operations
Fosters a culture of exceptional guest experience
Reviews store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement, and adjusts accordingly
Drives implementation of company programs through action planning and inspires the team to meet operational standards
Promotes and maintains consistent accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring all operational changes are communicated and implemented
Develops and oversees partnerships with local community members and participates in local events to build brand awareness
Uses operational tools, such as Profit and Loss Statement, Business Review, Cash management, Log including banking policies and procedures, Labor Matrix and Inventory Management tools, to achieve Operational Excellence

Ensures each employee follows and completes Training Tools on The Blend
Manages the team by utilizing performance management tools to support organizational objectives, provide feedback, and set goals

Utilizes and demonstrates effective management practices to create and maintain a successful store team resulting in an environment where the team feels valued and respected

Works closely with the District Leader to execute all initiatives in the field
Maximize satisfaction through ensuring high levels of Guest service, including oversight of Guest reviews and escalated Guest issues
Maintains store cleanliness and upkeep, including monthly inspections, systems reviews, and coordinating the update/replacement of damaged equipment or facilities
Communicate and manage all marketing strategies and promotions in the store, ensuring proper execution to drive results
Understands the local competition and keeps current on changes in the food service landscape
Composure
Handles Guest concerns at the store level to the guests' satisfaction
Communicates unexpected situations to Team Members calmly and without showing resistance and/or frustration
Is considered a confident and/or resource in a tough situation
Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
Must be team oriented, self-motivated, and well organized
Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit, stand and use his/her hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
Operates a blender and POS cashier system

Schedule
Full-time, exempt position. This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed. Minimums of 40 to 45 hours are required.
