Assistant General Manager - OMA

About the role

This role serves as an Assistant General Manager for a private aviation terminal, overseeing all business functions and leading the team in providing exceptional service to guests, residents, and flight crews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all business functions of the Private Aviation Terminal (PAT)
• Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain and develop business
• Ensure compliance with all company and local regulations
• Act as a liaison with the airport community
• Manage and direct activities of subordinate leaders and team members
• Schedule, coordinate, and assign duties to team members
• Conduct shift and team member meetings and manage special events
• Administer and process new team members
• Lead team in safe and efficient operations
• Manage team performance and administer corrective action
• Interview, onboard, and manage team members
• Ensure all team members complete airline-required training
• Provide guest service support and manage relationships
• Perform ramp operations as needed
• Ensure safety and security of the terminal
• Manage inventory and oversee fuel quality control
• Comply with operational, safety, and guest service requirements
• Follow emergency response procedures
• Maintain accurate records and perform payroll oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid state driver’s license
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) as required by base-specific operations
• Trained and approved to perform required certifications (e.g., towing, deicing)

• Physical ability: Enter/exit and operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment

• Interpersonal skills: Get along and work well with others, maintain professionalism and confidentiality
