Assistant General Manager - Final Mile

Location: 1600 Garner Business Pk #100, Garner, NC 27529

Work Environment: Onsite
Shift: Full Time, 5 days per week, open schedule availability, start time 4:30 AM, Tuesday to Saturday

About the Role

This position will support a new business start-up of a two-person delivery team (driver and helper, either employees or independent contractors) and associated personnel in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will support all facets of the operation, including transportation, delivery operations, and inventory control for Bob’s Discount Furniture accounts.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of warehouse, delivery operations, and account management for Werner Final Mile (WFM).
• Oversee two-person delivery teams (driver and helper) in furniture delivery, assembly, and white-glove delivery services.
• Manage transportation logistics, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
