About the role
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Daily Gather is a key position responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and drive results
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver outstanding service and uphold brand standards
- Manage scheduling, labor, and operational flow to ensure smooth and efficient shifts
- Build strong relationships with guests and team members alike
- Uphold safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
- Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts to build a strong, engaged team
- Jump in where needed — lead by example and work alongside your team
Requirements
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience
- Previous full-service restaurant experience
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop others
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful guest experiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be 21 years or older
