About the role

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Daily Gather is a key position responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and drive results
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver outstanding service and uphold brand standards
  • Manage scheduling, labor, and operational flow to ensure smooth and efficient shifts
  • Build strong relationships with guests and team members alike
  • Uphold safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts to build a strong, engaged team
  • Jump in where needed — lead by example and work alongside your team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Previous full-service restaurant experience
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop others
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful guest experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Must be 21 years or older
