Assistant General Manager - Cannabis

About the role

The Assistant General Manager is the key figure in keeping Bud's Goods & Provisions running smoothly. They blend technical, operational, and people skills, providing clear guidance, maintaining compliance, and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff, manage compliance, handle scheduling, and support payroll.

• Own inventory management and financial oversight, while maintaining customer service standards.

• Coach Sales Associates, manage cash & inventory, and resolve issues as they arise.

• Act as acting Manager on Duty, covering shifts including opening & closing.

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Inventory Specialist, and Security Specialist for store safety & compliance.

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking & conflict resolution skills.

• Intermediate to advanced word processing, spreadsheet & document creation skills.

• Sharp math skills & attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

• Experience with METRC & Dutchie entries, CCTV monitoring, & reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a retail setting.

• Knowledge of cannabis control commission regulations.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends.

Benefits

Bud's Goods & Provisions offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 USD per year, along with comprehensive benefits.
