About the role

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wawa, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and meets customer expectations. Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing the team, and driving overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Gather customer feedback and solve problems to maintain a positive Wawa experience.
  • Execute quality and engaging training sessions for Customer Service Associates to ensure they meet Wawa's safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognizing, and motivating the team to achieve peak performance.
  • Carefully coordinate schedules and daily tasks to optimize store operations.
  • Maintain and analyze store performance data, manage shrinkage, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor trends and collaborate with peers to develop strategies for achieving optimal results.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in food service or retail environments.
  • A strong background in store operations, including staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $24.50 - $33.00, with bonuses available based on performance.

Schedule

Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
