About the role
As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Wawa, you play a crucial role in ensuring every customer leaves satisfied, supporting the growth and development of your team, and driving the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Gather feedback from customers and solve problems to maintain a smooth and friendly Wawa experience.
- Execute quality and engaging training for Customer Service Associates to ensure they meet Wawa’s safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognizing, and motivating the team to consistently perform their best.
- Cook up efficient schedules and daily tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain store performance by reviewing reports, managing shrink, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Monitor trends and collaborate with peers to develop action plans for optimal results.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in food service or retail environments.
- Strong background in store operations, including staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control.
- Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $25.30 - $34.10, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Monthly bonus incentives may also be available.
Schedule
