Assistant General Manager
About the role
Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll lead a store team, drive sales targets, and create an outstanding in-store experience.
Responsibilities
- Take care of guests and confirm team members have what they need
- Lead by example on the sales floor
- Coach and motivate team members to reach their full potential
- Resolve customer issues and assist with transactions
- Set and share daily/weekly/monthly goals with sales teams
- Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Identify and address selling skill gaps, build and implement development plans
- Run store operations, analyze staffing needs, report financial and sales data, handle cash, manage inventory, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure store up-time and functionality
- Lead store merchandising and planogram compliance
- Complete store opening and closing activities
- Collectively achieve store targets daily/weekly/monthly
Qualifications
- Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role
- Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
- Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
- Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
- Set goals, evaluate performance, and develop a high-performing team
- Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift ten pounds and stand for long periods of time

Pay
The Assistant General Manager position offers a base hourly rate of $17.16 plus uncapped commission, resulting in a national average annual salary of $43,000 to $67,000.
Schedule
Hours vary based on store location and business needs. Please note that some positions may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
