Assistant General Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports dispensary staff, inventory, and patient/customer relations.
• Interacts with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service.
• Responds to customer and patient inquiries, feedback, and suggestions.
• Resolves in-store situations promptly and respectfully.
• Builds and maintains bi-weekly work schedules for staff.
• Walks the floor to assist dispensary staff and provide product/service information.
• Coaches and develops staff, answering questions and concerns.
• Delegates tasks to Cannabis Advisors to ensure compliance.
• Communicates information from the corporate retail team to dispensary staff.
• Conducts interviews as directed by the General Manager.
• Trains staff on the POS System and State Inventory System.
• Oversees orders and deliveries to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintains company culture and atmosphere within the facility.
• Keeps records of all dispensary activity, including cash, sales, vendors, and customer/patient information.

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 1 year as an assistant manager or above is required.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and retail management.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands, including weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• At least 21 years of age.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb.
• Able to stand up to 90% of the time.
• Specific hearing abilities required include hearing in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Specific vision abilities required include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
• Mental and physical requirements include the ability to adjust focus and communicate effectively.

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a retail environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
