About the role

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our team at True Food Kitchen. This role involves running high volume service periods, managing employees, overseeing the beverage program, and facilitating development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures food quality, service, and table presentation meet TFK standards through precise line checks and facility walks.
  • Participates in EcoSure & Health inspections with BOH staff to maintain a safe production environment.
  • Manages all Front of House (FOH) employees, including interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, training, and development.
  • Plans, assigns, directs work, and conducts performance appraisals for FOH employees.
  • Assigns shifts and reports payroll hours in compliance with company standards and state laws.
  • Oversees the beverage program, including inventory management, ordering, cost control, and training.
  • Facilitates development for both management and key hourly team members through formal and informal channels.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of financial aspects of business operations.
  • Caring, self-motivated, and capable of leading, coaching, and driving excellence.
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a manager in a full-service, high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Resilient in stressful situations and adept at handling last-minute requests.
