Assistant General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Restaurant General Manager to lead our operations and foster growth opportunities within our expanding McAlister's Deli network.

Responsibilities

• Manage high expectations and conduct business in a respectful and highly ethical manner
• Hands-on leadership with teams, enhancing execution levels
• Foster an environment of personal development, creativity, and opportunity
• Lead a non-smoking, no-alcohol, no-grease restaurant environment
• Manage a diverse menu including deli sandwiches, baked potatoes, soups, salads, desserts, and sweet tea
• Focus on superior service and food quality
• Participate in the rapid growth of McAlister's Deli locations

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Understanding of the quick-casual market and its dynamics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a restaurant setting
• Experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Hours are flexible but generally from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.
