Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
- Oversees hotel operations under the direction of the General Manager
- Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
- Ensures compliance with brand standards
- Maintains statistical and financial records
- Sets and achieves sales and profit targets
- Recruits, trains, and monitors staff
- Plants and monitors work schedules for individuals and teams
- Meets and greets customers
- Deals with customer complaints and comments
- Addresses problems and troubleshoots
- Ensures events and conferences run smoothly
- Supervises maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings
- Deals with contractors and suppliers
- Ensures security is effective
- Carry out inspections of property and services
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Education And Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Financial savvy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Pay, Benefits & Schedule
Compensation Range: $65,000
