Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the running of a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Works with the General Manager to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve those goals.
• Leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their Departments.
• Makes sure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future by hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.

Requirements

• Previous Assistant General Manager or Department Manager experience running high volume locations.
• A background in quick service restaurants or experience in hospitality or retail.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.

Qualifications

• Competitive pay range of $24.00 - $29.00 per hour, with potential for a salaried position.
• Starting wages depend on experience and the volume of the location.

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of quick service or hospitality industry.
