Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role requiring strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with the leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
• Leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, follow up on progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments.
• Might be responsible for hiring and developing Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for future leadership.

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations is preferred.
• A background in quick-service restaurants or hospitality/review is beneficial.
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
