Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership to the team.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in running the day-to-day dispensary activities and processes
• Maintain and ensure compliance with local, state, and Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations
• Lead and supervise all departmental employees to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Audit online menus and ensure inventory team fulfills their duties
• Schedule employee reviews, generate performance and attendance reports
• Cooperate with the General Manager and assist with project planning and staff management
• Nurture positive relationships with staff and provide training and development
• Address issues promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Pass a Department of Criminal Justice criminal background check (LiveScan) and any other background screening requirements
• Experience in high volume sales
• Knowledge of cannabis products, paraphernalia, and industry trends
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel)
• Proficient in computing skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of integrity
• Ability to manage a team in a highly regulated fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays

Qualifications

• Experience in Greenbits POS and Metrc
• Physical requirements: Stand/walk for up to 8 hours, sit for up to 8 hours, lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly, reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, carry product, and perform store maintenance tasks

Pay

The pay range for this role is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, DOE (Based on experience).

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring weekend, evening, and holiday availability.
