Assistant General Counsel - Professional Services Firm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on client-related issues, including disputes, claims, and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including engagement letters, MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements, subcontractor agreements, and RFP responses
• Manage subpoena responses and assist with litigation-related matters, including coordination with outside counsel
• Support intellectual property matters, including protection strategy and coordination with external counsel
• Afford assistance with employment-related legal issues and internal investigations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience (law firm and/or in-house)
• Professional liability defense experience REQUIRED
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements
• Experience handling or supporting litigation, disputes, or subpoena compliance
• Ability to advise on multiple legal areas, including contracts, compliance, employment, and risk
