Assistant General Counsel (Corporate)

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a General Counsel in a corporate environment, with a strong background in legal matters relevant to technology and innovation. They should be proficient in using AI tools to support their work.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to senior management and other key stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to legal matters.
• Represent the company in litigation and arbitration proceedings, as well as in negotiations with third parties.
• Manage outside counsel and ensure that all legal work is performed efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies and operations.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
• Experience working with AI tools to support legal work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Skills
