Job Description Summary
Position Objectives: As an Assistant Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and profitable delivery of projects by providing hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.
Position Responsibilities
- Mobilization and Decommissioning: Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including: Pumping Systems, Power Generation and Distribution Systems, HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Energy and Temporary Utility Systems, Emergency and Disaster Response Systems.
- Safety and Compliance Leadership: Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty. Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk.
- Project Coordination and Efficiency: Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus. Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources.
Base Pay Range
Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
