Assistant Football Coach- 1 yr ONLY 26-27

About the role

This is a 1-year position. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for athletics, be available for all related activities, and demonstrate knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals.

Requirements

• Organizational and motivational skills
• Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook
• Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years
• Willingness to support the total athletic program
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card

Those recommended for hire must attend a training class on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and take the district's class on sexual harassment training. Those recommended for hire will be fingerprinted for a background check.

Pursuant to WIAA Regulations, Head coaches must be 21 years of age; Assistant coaches must be 19 years of age. Class room teacher is preferred but, not required.

Qualifications

Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years is required. A classroom teacher background is preferred but not necessary.
