SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- -ASSISTANT COACH FOOTBALL
Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions at NOVA HIGH SCHOOL are seeking individuals with the necessary qualifications and experience to lead and support student athletes in various activities.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for student athletes.
- Provide guidance and instruction on the rules and strategies of the sport/activity.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and administrators to ensure the success of the team.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Standard high school diploma or GED.
- A valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
- Knowledge of the sport/activity and ability to teach it.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience coaching the specific sport/activity.
- Previous administrative experience in athletics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
