Job Description
The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis processes. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role focuses on executing advanced financial responsibilities, including financial close, forecasting, performance analysis, and internal controls. The position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable financial data and actionable insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Partners closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure financial results accurately reflect business activities.
- Bridge accounting processes with forward-looking financial planning, enabling improved visibility into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Use strong collaboration to resolve variances, support business initiatives, and enhance financial processes.
- Provide guidance to team members and is expected to demonstrate ownership, accountability, and leadership in driving high-quality output.
- Have strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or finance roles (director commercial Sales experience )
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Deep knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow relationships
- Experience with financial close, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and translate into actionable insights
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions
- Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance processes
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
