Responsibilities

• Support the finance team through monthly and annual close processes
• Manage and participate in special projects, including an upcoming state reporting initiative
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to support financial planning and operational goals
• Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
• Serve as a key partner to leadership on financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• Prior experience working within a Connecticut public school district is required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices
• Experience with Munis financial software is required
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams

Benefits

Salary: $100,000 – $175,000
