Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist FSO with clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, filing, creating/updating forms and other documents.
- Process Incoming and Outgoing Visit Authorization Requests including entering information into Security FileMaker or Access database, JPAS, and other location-specific forms and systems.
- Complete security orientation for new hires with existing clearances, without existing clearances, and unclassified employees including processing ownership of existing clearances, initiating new clearances, and tracking completion of required briefings.
- Maintain department-specific supplies and documents, including ensuring supply levels and accuracy of content for new hire orientation discs, debriefing packages, and other documentation.
- Track employee completion of annual required briefings and trainings.
- Track due dates for employee clearance reinvestigations and initiate and monitor processing including working with employees on required tasks.
- Auxiliary tasks include maintaining classified library, monitoring Security Post Office Box for incoming classified material, entering data updates to Security databases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining Security files in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures, assisting Security Officer with special projects and other emergent needs, participating in department staff meetings, and sharing responsibility for reception duties with the HR department including answering phones and receiving visitors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience: 2 years of experience.
