Assistant Facility Officer - NISSC II

Description of Duties

The Assistant Facility Officer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:

• Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in ensuring full compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and contract specific security requirements.
• Implement and maintain the facility's security program in accordance with NISPOM, DoD instruction, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain quarterly training programs and keep documentation of training rosters.
• Process and track personnel security clearance processing, tracking, and record keeping.
• Conduct security briefings and debriefings, investigate and report security violations, and support self-inspections, audits, and DCSA assessments.
• Maintain classified document control and accountability.
• Assist with Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems, including badging and conducting audits.
• Support physical security requirements for Open Storage and Restricted Areas.
• Assist the FSO with maintaining internal security databases and ensuring information accuracy.
• Process and track incoming/outgoing visit requests.
• Support the creation and management of DD254s for prime and subcontractor relationships.

Basic Requirements

• A U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance (ability to obtain SCI eligibility).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in industrial security or related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), classified information handling, and secure facility operations.
• Proficiency with security management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using DISS, NISS, NBIS, or similar government security systems.
• Experience with stand forms used by the government and industry facilities (SF-86, SF-312, SF700, SF702).
• Familiarity with creation and management of DD254s.
• Ability to climb stairs on a daily basis in an unusual environment which requires change in altitude and weather.
• Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities training within the first year of employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, leadership, and government customers.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution in addition to relevant experience.
