Key Responsibilities
- Aid in managing real estate transactions from contract execution to post-closing.
- Prepare and review closing-related documents, including settlement statements, closing disclosures, deeds, powers of attorney, and other transaction documents.
- Cook up coordination with lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, attorneys, and municipal offices to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Support title curative efforts and assist with resolving issues that may impact closing.
- Manage file documentation and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Aid with escrow account administration, including receipt of funds, disbursements, wire transfers, and check processing.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, lender requirements, and industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working for a title company is required.
- Experience supporting residential and/or commercial real estate closings.
- A strong understanding of escrow procedures, title operations, and closing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and title/closing software such as SoftPro or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling multiple closing files simultaneously.
- Familiarity with title curative processes and post-closing activities.
- Experience working directly with escrow officers, closing attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals.
