Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our mechanics in maintaining and repairing various types of Golf machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn, a passion for mechanics, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on equipment.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical systems and components.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced mechanics.
- Document repairs and maintenance performed on machinery for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A basic understanding of mechanical systems; prior experience in a mechanic shop is appreciated.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools is desirable.
- The ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to mechanical repair.
