Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager - Data Center

Responsibilities

• Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
• Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3rd party vendors
• Large inventory management
• Financial forecasting and budgeting
• Rental software contract management
• Equipment logistics planning
• Vendor relations
• Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities, constraints and requirements
• Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
• Lead department initiatives to include development, training and support
• Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
• Support innovation by encouraging new process development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management experience or 8+ years of equivalent professional trade experience
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to travel 50%
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight (preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and materials (preferred)

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $98,800 - $133,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
