About the role
The Assistant Equal Opportunity Officer supports the Institutional Equity Officer in advancing the university's compliance, education, and prevention efforts related to Titles VI, VII, and IX. The role coordinates the Informal Resolution process for discrimination and Title IX complaints across multiple campuses, facilitates resolutions, and manages outreach and prevention initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering training for students, faculty, and staff
- Overseeing online compliance training programs
- Supporting Equal Employment Opportunity reporting and data analysis
- Monitoring hiring practices and search procedures
- Maintaining accurate records
- Engaging stakeholders through educational programming
- Providing administrative and operational support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 36 months of experience in investigating, adjudicating, or facilitating resolution of discrimination complaints under Titles VI, VII, or XI or an equivalent of experience and advanced degree
- Certification as an Informal Resolution Facilitator, mediator or similar or able to obtain certification within six months
Pay
Targeted salary of $72,000 annually, depending on education and experience.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
