About the role

The role involves managing traffic projects and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee traffic management plans and ensure their implementation
  • Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to address traffic issues
  • Develop and maintain traffic flow models and simulations
  • Prepare and present project reports to clients and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering or project management
  • Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with traffic simulation software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience with traffic signal systems and intersection design
  • Understanding of traffic engineering software such as Synchro, CORSIM, or VISSIM

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
