About the role
The role involves managing traffic projects and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee traffic management plans and ensure their implementation
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to address traffic issues
- Develop and maintain traffic flow models and simulations
- Prepare and present project reports to clients and regulatory bodies
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering or project management
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic simulation software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with traffic signal systems and intersection design
- Understanding of traffic engineering software such as Synchro, CORSIM, or VISSIM
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
