Responsibilities
- Administer, plan, and develop policies and procedures aligned with the University’s mission and vision.
- Supervise, train, and support full-time coordinators; recruit, hire, and oversee graduate and undergraduate student staff, programs, committees, and weekly case conferences.
- Respond to disability-related inquiries and maintain a student caseload, determining disability status, functional limitations, reasonable accommodations, and academic plans, including diagnosing ADHD.
- Provide expertise in assistive technology and collaborate with testing facilities and campus partners related to student accommodations.
- Respond to faculty inquiries; develop and lead professional development, awareness programs, events, and committees related to disability services and accessibility.
- Provide consultation and guidance to faculty and staff on approved accommodation and disability-related practices.
- Collect, analyze, and report university and office metrics related to productivity, services, and outcomes.
- Represent the office in data collection and assessment efforts and lead preparation for strategic planning.
Requirements
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education, Disability Studies, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience supervising mental health, educational, disability services, accessibility services, or related professionals.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience conducting evaluations, disability assessments, case reviews, accommodation determinations, or related professional responsibilities in educational, clinical, rehabilitation, or disability services settings.
Preferred
- A licensed Ph.D. or Psy.D. Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience.
- Three or more years of experience supervising mental health or educational professionals.
- Three or more years of experience conducting psychoeducational, psychological, neuropsychological, ADHD, learning disability, or related evaluations.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience assessing and determining reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in higher education or similar settings.
- Experience providing consultation and leadership regarding complex disability-related cases, accommodation decisions, and accessibility compliance.

Pay
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
