Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule examinations
- Oversee the administration of testing services
- Manage testing software and systems to ensure efficient operations
- Support the administration of NWACC placement assessments and classroom testing services
- Conduct research, prepare specialized reports, review and verify documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Perform a variety of administrative and office management functions
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain relevant certifications for the administration of assessments associated with community proctoring services, including CLEP, DSST, Pearson Vue, Kryterion, and PROVAssist the director with the training of all employees and the development, organization, and maintenance of training materials to ensure consistency and alignment with established procedures and standards
- Maintain the MarketPlace website by ensuring the accuracy of testing fee information and oversee the processing of all Testing Services transactions, including purchases and refunds, in accordance with established institutional procedures
- Deliver prompt and high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries about Testing Services through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Monitor examinees throughout the testing process and enforce established testing security protocols while administering a variety of paper-based and computer-delivered examinations for community members, prospective students, and currently enrolled students
- Aid the director with the administration and maintenance of the placement testing platform and the training of external sub-site proctors to ensure effective operations and compliance with established testing procedures and security standards
- Maintain and manage databases, spreadsheets, records, testing schedules, and software systems associated with community-based examinations to ensure accuracy, organization, and efficient testing operations
- Aid the director with managing office supply inventory and preparing, processing, and tracking purchase requests to support the efficient operation of Testing Services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least 3 years of experience in a specialized or related field applicable to work performed
Skills
- Self-starter with strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Student Information systems, word processing programs, spreadsheets, email and other computer programs
- Effective communication in oral and written form with a diverse customer base in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Ability to build relationships with individuals and teams across the institution and community
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking
- Close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and visual inspection
- Moderate noise level, including sounds from conversations, office equipment, and occasional movement of staff
- Controlled lighting and temperature
- Occasional exposure to louder noise levels or physical activities, such as moving lightweight materials
Rate of Pay
$51,193 annualized
*Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least 3 years of experience in a specialized or related field applicable to work performed
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working at an academic testing center
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
