SUMMARY
USC Athletics is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations and Event Management to support facility and event management for one or more assigned facilities and/or sports. This role will serve as the primary and secondary event manager for assigned sports, develop and implement game/event safety and security protocols, conduct event specific briefings and planning meetings, and support event preparation, installation, and breakdown.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as primary and secondary event manager for assigned sports
- Develop and implement game/event safety and security protocols
- Conduct event specific briefings and planning meetings
- Establish communication with visiting teams, officials, game/event staff and broadcast personnel
- Serves as a liaison and point of contact for various athletics department activities

- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 1+ years of experience working in intercollegiate athletic event management at the Division I level
- Valid driver's license required
- Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System
