About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) at Riverview Village plays a crucial role in supporting clinical operations, overseeing nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality resident care. This position requires a strong background in nursing, particularly in long-term care settings, and involves managing a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to support clinical operations and ensure quality resident care.
- Oversee nursing staff and implement policies to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Coach and mentor clinical staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and staff to ensure clear understanding and satisfaction.
- Create a supportive and engaging environment for residents.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Must have experience in long-term care and clinical management.
- On-call rotation required every Wednesday and every 6th weekend.

- A desire to inspire and motivate clinical staff.
- A solid foundation of nursing knowledge and skills.
- A willingness to coach and mentor clinical staff.
- An ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.

Riverview Village offers a full-time, flexible schedule (approx. 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) with a supportive and engaging atmosphere for residents. The ADNS works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care and maintains a positive work environment for staff.
