About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center is responsible for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing Services to develop, communicate, and maintain nursing policies and procedures that align with current clinical practices, professional standards, and the facility's philosophy of care.
Responsibilities
- Achieve delegated responsibilities and accountability for the provision of resident care.
- Develop, communicate, and maintain nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and company and facility philosophy of care.
- Assure compliance with Federal and State laws and corporate policies and procedures.
- Lead and motivate clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Coach and mentor clinical staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and residents' families.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
