Responsibilities

• Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.
• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns, as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facility.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, as well as long-term care regulations.
