Assistant Director of Nursing- LVN/LPN

Principal Responsibilities

• Captures and implements plans for the comprehensive care of each resident in alignment with physician orders, regulatory requirements, and facility policies.
• Communicates and clarifies policies and procedures to nursing staff, and oversees their execution.
• Participates in admission decisions and may conduct pre-admissions visits as necessary.
• Attends daily and weekly management team meetings to address resident status, census adjustments, personnel matters, or resident issues.
• Maintains high standards of compassionate, quality care through appropriate services and staffing levels, ensuring absence of odors, cleanliness, prevention of pressure wounds, and optimal resident functionality.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN or LPN in the state of practice.
• A degree from an accredited nursing school, preferably an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
• At least five years of experience in long-term or acute healthcare settings, with at least two years in nursing supervision.
• Wound care certification, demonstrating proficiency in wound care management and documentation.
