Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessment of potential residents to assure that their needs will be met.
• Ensure the health and safety of all residents through weekly on-site visits with residents and staff.
• Support the Director of Staff Development to provide health and medication training to all new employees, as well as continued education for all staff, and document such training to assure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Supervise medication practices and medical equipment being used in the building.
• Assure that staff clearly understand and follow all resident care procedures.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures and implementation of them.
• Assure residents maintain admission criteria, reassess, and recommend alternative placement if necessary.
• Implement service agreements with all new residents.
• Review and revise service plans as needed and a minimum of once per year.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) in the State of MN.
• A minimum of one year of experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience using resident record computerized systems.

Pay

$90,000-$100,000 per year

Full-time, Monday-Friday

A current RN in the State of MN is required.
